The 2016 Women of Resilience conference was held this past weekend at the Drury Plaza Hotel, Santa Fe NM, with over 250 people in attendance. The conference was presented by Creativity and Madness in collaboration with The American Institute of Medical Education, and was chaired by Jacqueline Berz Panter, MA, MS.
Guests explored how to embrace their resilience, their courage, and inner power. The three-day conference explored topics ranging from Release Your Inner Wonder Woman – Discover your own Super Powers to Childhood Sexual Abuse & The Fragile Self and many other insightful themes. A full list
of the topics and the bios of the speakers are attached.
Miriam Friedman, one of the conference’s participants, thanked founders Barry Panter and Jacqueline Berz Panter saying “Wonderful conference — the spirit, the information, the energy. I loved every minute.”
The founders then shared a short animated movie they created especially for the event. The short film, entitled Road of Life, beautifully illustrated the main topics of the conference, how to deal with a death of a spouse, death of a child, illness, depression, loss of a job, and loss of a
friend and how the tools you need to be resilient.
Another participant at the conference, Vijali Hamilton, was totally amazed by the video and said, “My dear Jacqueline, I love your video, it says it all. What a gift you gave us all. Beautiful. I am still carrying the supportive, open, inspiring conference with me in my heart and am grateful that you and Barry.”
This conference is co-sponsored by The Academy of Mindful Psychology for psychologists. The Academy of Mindful Psychology is approved by the American Psychological Association to sponsor continuing education for psychologists.
